What’s the difference between MDF or plywood?

MDF it is made of wood powder and has a smooth surface. It is mostly used in household products, photo frames, and products printed on the surface.

And plywood are made of  the wood chips, you can see the clear pressed pattern on the edge, which is generally made of poplar or basswood.  The plywood has a relatively clear wood grain, which is easier to do surface treatment than MDF.

The price of plywood is more expensive than MDF.
